Basis for Recommendation
The failure of a Current Return Cable or Hose is not covered in any of the TDLR documents available to the Traffic Supervisor in deciding a course of action to be taken in the event of a failure. Although noted that Safety Notice SN 07/2023 provided instructions to Traffic Supervisors in relation to actions to be taken when a defect is reported by a drivers (paragraph 110), this now needs to be incorporated into relevant documentation.
