Urgent Safety Advice Notice / Safety Advice Notice

At the early stages of an investigation the RAIU may make some early findings on safety issues that require immediate action, in these cases the RAIU issue an Urgent Safety Advice Notice (USAN) Investigation Report or a Safety Advice Notice (SAN) Investigation Report. The purpose of issuing USAN/SANs is that the RAIU can make safety recommendation to Implementers and Addressees promptly. Upon  issuance of USAN/SANs no further investigation may be required.
